YOUNG AT HEART SHORT FILM AWARDS
Dendy Opera Quays  – Tuesday 8 April – 5:15pm

A program of the cream of the crop of Australian short films

Discover the finalists in this national competition for new Australian shorts, showcasing the vitality, skills and talent of seniors in the community.

The Movie Network Channels Talent Award is decided by a panel of experts – including actress Lorraine Bayly and writer and journalist Bruce Elder. It will be awarded for the best artistic contribution by a senior and comes with a cash prize of $1,000, courtesy of the Movie Network Channels.

The Production Book Audience Award will go to the best film as voted for by the audience. The winner will go home with the indispensable Production Book 2008 and a subscription to Australia's most comprehensive online film and tv industry directory.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with shortlisted filmmakers and the presentation of the awards.
